Tamarillo Crumble

Tamarillo Crumble 3-3.JPG

Tamarillo season is here! Every time Tamarillo season rolls around I look forward to the desserts I can create with this delicious fruit. This tamarillo crumble is sure to be a big hit when served up as an after dinner treat. It is bursting with flavour thanks to the  juicy sweet tamarillo filling and the oaty crumble. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream!

Tamarillo's are rich in vitamins A, C, E, and A. They also contain minerals such as, phosphorus, manganese, magnesium, copper, zinc and iron. Check out the 5+ A Day Charitable Trust for fresh fruit & vegetable inspiration including Tamarillo and Apple Crumble and Citrus Spiced Tamarillos
