Feijoas, also known as Pineapple Guavas or Guavasteens are native to Brazil and are found in South America and New Zealand. Feijoas are hands down my favourite fruit and when they are in season, I eat as many as possible!
This is a recipe for Feijoa Salsa that is fresh, zesty, and full of flavour. It is amazing served alongside grilled fish or chicken, as a dip to chips, on top of a salad, or eaten by itself. If you do like salsa with a bit of bite, feel free to add some chili.

1 red onion
1 bunch coriander
Slice the skin off the feijoas.
Finely chop all ingredients except for the lime and place into a bowl.
Squeeze lime juice over salsa and serve straight away.
