The ultimate bunless burger! For those nights when you just NEED a burger in your life. This burger is so full of juicy flavour, eat it with a fork or wrapped in lettuce, and you'll soon forget the bun ever existed. Dress these up with delicious toppings and you're good to go!

200 grams mince
50 grams cheddar cheese
4 large lettuce leaves
1 tomato, sliced
1 avocado, mashed
1 lime
1/2 red onion, sliced
2 stalks spring onion, finely sliced
1 tablespoon oil
4 teaspoons mayo (optional)
1/4 cup coriander
salt + pepper


Separate the mince into 4 portions and roll into balls, then flatten. Heat a non stick pan over medium heat, add the oil. Place the 4 mince patties onto the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or longer if desired. 
Place the lettuce onto 4 plates and top with the burger pattie, mayonnaise, tomato, red onion, avocado, spring onion, coriander and top with salt + pepper. Drizzle lime juice over the burgers. Best served warm.
