Chocolate Dipped Banana Bites

Chocolate dipped banana bites are made of sliced bananas, topped with peanut butter, and coated in chocolate for a simple, bite sized dessert all ages will enjoy! They’re the perfect snack to have after dinner when you need to satisfy a sweet tooth. Plus, with just 5 ingredients, they’re super easy to make. The peanut butter can be replaced with almond butter.  I hope you love them as much as I do!

Yields

8 bites


Ingredients

2 bananas
1/2 cup dark chocolate
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
 

Method

Line a tray or plate with baking paper.
Cut the bananas into slices and add a small amount of peanut butter to half of the slices. Top with a banana slice. 
Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave or double boiler, and stir until smooth. Place the banana bite onto a tablespoon and dip the banana bite into the chocolate, place onto the baking paper. Repeat until all of the banana bites are covered. 
Sprinkle with salt and place in the freezer for at least 20 minutes before eating. Store in an air tight container in the freezer.
