Almond Butter Cups

These Almond Butter Cups are easy to make, decadent and the perfect fix for your sweet tooth. These little cups of heaven are made using almond butter, coconut oil, cacao powder and maple syrup. I topped mine with salt but feel free to add nuts and seeds, or coconut chips. I guarantee you’ll love them and they’ll probably be a staple in your house. I highly recommend making a big batch of these to freeze so you can have a sweet treat at a moments notice. Enjoy x

1/2 cup almond butter
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
1/4 cup cacao or cocoa powder
3 tablespoons maple syrup


Line 8 muffin trays with muffin cups or baking paper. Alternatively,  you can use mini silicone molds which is what I used. 
In a medium bowl, mix the almond butter, coconut oil, cocao and maple. Mix until the ingredients are smooth. 
Using a tablespoon, scoop mixture into each of the muffin cups. Sprinkle salt onto each almond butter cup and place in the freezer for at least 2 hours before eating. Store in an airtight container in the freezer.
