Green and Lemon Tea with Ginger

6 Red Seal Green tea with Lemon tea bags

4 cups boiling water

2 cups cold water

Juice of 1 lemon

1 lemon, thinly sliced

1 teaspoon grated ginger

¼ teaspoon turmeric, I used powdered

2 tablespoons chia seeds

3 tablespoons Red Seal honey


  1. In a large bowl, pour the boiling water over the tea bags and steep for 10 minutes. Pour in the cold water and steep for 5 minutes, remove the tea bags and pour tea into a large pitcher.
  2. Add the lemon juice, lemon slices, ginger, turmeric, honey, chia seeds and stir well.
  3. Pour into glasses or tea cups and serve warm or wait to cool, store in jars and take on the go.
