Chocolate Currant Cups

Chocolate Currant Cups Since we have started the Sugar Free Challenge this week we have had some people make some amazing sugar free creations.  Last night our mum experimented and made these Chocolate currant cups, which were too delicious to not share. They are the best after dinner treat to help curb those sugar cravings.

These are refined sugar free, grain free, dairy free and gluten free. YUM!

Ingredients:

100 grams cacao butter, melted 1/2 cup cacao powder 1/4 cup organic maple syrup 1 tsp pure organic vanilla extract 1 handful of currants 1/4 cup of cacao nibs

Method:

1. Melt the cacao butter in a small saucepan over low heat, then allow to cool down. 2. Add the maple syrup to the cooled cacao butter, then stir in the cacao powder and mix. 3. Stir in the vanilla and currants. 4. Spoon mixture into ice cube trays or tiny patty cups. Top with cacao nibs and freeze until set.
