Our Pescatarian Vegetarian Christmas

My Mother, Father and Sister are Pescatarians and I am a Vegetarian so when it comes to Christmas time we don't have a ham, we have salmon and salads.  My brother is a big meat eater so just has to put up with the lack of meat at our family Christmas lunch but he doesn't seem to mind.

As our family always have a Christmas lunch, not dinner, and we are in the Southern Hemisphere so it's Summer time we don't do the traditional Christmas lunch, we are a bit more relaxed and casual when it comes to food.

This is what Mum created for us this year -

Mango Salad

Asian Peanut Stir Fry

Potatoes - I think I probably ate half of this!

Salmon & Prawns

The night before I made a Lemon and Lime tart that is sugar free, gluten free and dairy free.  Not quite sure how but we did have room for it.  I will have the recipe up for the tart in the next few days.

Libby and I hope that you all had an amazing Christmas day spent with loved ones.  We thank you for your support of our little blog over the past four months and are looking forward to 2013.  Libby will be studying Naturopathy and myself Nutritional Medicine so expect lots of helpful information and yummy recipes next year.
