Late August this year I posted a blog about my friends gifting me one years sponsorship of a pig for my Birthday.  Her name is Dorris. She lives with her brother Horace at The Black Sheep Animal Sanctuary which is just out of Wellington, New Zealand.  Both of them were rescued from a Factory Farm.

Black Sheep is an amazing property on 26 acres of land.  The purpose of Black Sheep is to rehabilitate and re-home abused, injured, and neglected non-human animals and provide them a safe space. As the Sanctuary is quite far from where I live I asked for an update on Dorris to see how she was doing in her new home.

I was sent this photo...

Dorris

And here is her brother Horace... Horace

There are still some animals who need sponsorship at Black Sheep.  A Horse, Cow and three Roosters.  If you are intersted in Sponsoring an animal or learning a bit more about the Sancturary click here or visit their Facebook page
