Vegetarian Pizza with spinach sauce
I love making my own pizza sauce, it's so easy! You can make a big batch and then freeze it for use next time you make a pizza.
The ingredients I used were enough to make two pizzas. Chicken can also be added to the pizza if you want a meat option.
Ingredients: Pizza base (I am using Turkish bread pizza bases)
2 Medium kumaras 1 Broccoli (sliced into small pieces) 1 Capsicum 100 gms of feta cheese 2 cups of raw spinach 1 cup of macadamia nuts or walnuts Salt and pepper Oil ¾ cup of water 2 tablespoons of pine nuts
Slice the kumaras and capsicum and place on oven tray, add some salt and pepper and some oil. Bake in the oven on 180C for 10 minutes.
To make the pizza sauce blend the macadamias, water, spinach and salt and water to a blender. Blend until smooth.
Add the pizza sauce to the pizza bases. Add the kumara, capsicum, broccoli, pine nuts and feta on top.
Bake in the oven on 200C for ten minutes or until pizza base begins to brown.
