Julia and Libby are sister who are lovers of everything that nourishes the body, mind and soul. They believe that beauty starts from within and food can be used as medicine in order to keep us healthy. Their approach to health is connected to both their educational study of the subject and their personal beliefs on the lifestyle it creates. Libby has a Diploma of Holistic Nutrition, which she received from Wellpark College of Natural Therapies and is at present working part time as a Nutritionist at My Remedy, a clinic based on Auckland's North Shore. However, in order to broaden her knowledge on helping others as much as possible is also currently studying Naturopathy - again at Wellpark College thus granting her a Bachelor Degree in the subject.
Libby believes a healthy life requires much more than just a focus on food and believes in treating her clients as a whole person with health requirements which stem not just from food related issues. Her ultimate goal with clients is to help them create their own paths to a healthy lifestyle which she does by teaching her clients about food philosophy while simultaneously helping them form positive relationships with food. This is vital to an overall better life and it is these combinations of interest, which have had her sort after by multiple organizations and events to give talks on such matters. She has given multiple seminars to businesswoman on the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the ways they can manage their stress levels that play a large role in a person’s quality of life. Libby was also asked to speak at a private fundraising event for Breast Cancer Awareness where she spoke to woman not only about how they could detect early onset signs but also on how specific health aspects have been shown to decrease chances of growth. Recently Libby has also starting talking on George FM, every Thursday afternoons at 5.15pm, on simple ways you can improve your health everyday.
