These treats are deeply nourishing, healthy and delicious. These are perfect for a mid day snack (especially when you have a chocolate craving), dessert or to even stash in your desk at work.
1 cup raw Almonds 10 large pitted Dates 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder Zest of 1 Orange Juice from the Orange 1 pinch Sea Salt 1/2 tsp Cinnamon Extra Cocoa or Coconut for rolling
- Grind the almonds in a food processor until fine. Add the dates, cocoa powder, orange zest, orange juice, cinnamon and salt.
- Process the mixture until it forms a ball. If you find that the mixture is to wet then add some coconut or more ground almonds.
- The mixture should make around 30 balls. Roll the balls in coconut or cocoa. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
