Bliss Balls


These treats are deeply nourishing, healthy and delicious. These are perfect for a mid day snack (especially when you have a chocolate craving), dessert or to even stash in your desk at work.

1 cup raw Almonds
10 large pitted Dates
2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
Zest of 1 Orange
Juice from the Orange
1 pinch Sea Salt
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
Extra Cocoa or Coconut for rolling

Grind the almonds in a food processor until fine. Add the dates, cocoa powder, orange zest, orange juice, cinnamon and salt.
Process the mixture until it forms a ball. If you find that the mixture is to wet then add some coconut or more ground almonds.
The mixture should make around 30 balls.  Roll the balls in coconut or cocoa. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
